Albertina Kerr’s Portland Art and Learning Studios is an art center and gallery for adults with developmental disabilities. We strive to foster each artist’s creative growth, build positive relationships within our community, and promote an awareness of the cultural contributions from people of all abilities.

 $100K Gallery Fundraising Match

We are pleased to announce we will soon have a new home in the Alberta Arts District, as well as a new vision for our program. Art from the Heart will be consolidating our inclusion community service for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  The Kerr program will be known as Portland Art and Learning Studios. These exciting developments have also provided us the opportunity to grow our presence in the community by moving to a larger facility.

Our plans for the building include: making it ADA compliant, creating a public art gallery, office space, creating art and studio production spaces. This vision requires a $350,000 investment. In order to realize these goals, we need your support. Thanks to a generous donor who has kicked off this grand fundraiser, all donations and gifts up to $100,000 will be matched dollar for dollar! Click here for more information on our future plans and to donate. Thank you so much for helping our clients realize their potential and Kerr's vision to support them in their artistic endeavors.
