Our employment programs successfully train and develop important work skills for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Local employers such as Wentworth Subaru, Intel, Embassy Suites and Cintas hire those who complete internship programs and training at Albertina Kerr.

Project SEARCH
• Partnership with local businesses to provide job training and skill development.
• Internship for people with developmental disabilities lasting 9 months (unpaid).
• Provides 3 different rotations (jobs) for interns that provide a chance to learn about strengths, skills, and types of work they are interested in pursuing.
• Provides experience working in a professional setting, learning job skills.
• Job Coaching services provided throughout the program.
• Help with job placement; goal is 100% job placement with either host business or community setting.

We are so proud to highlight the success of Albertina Kerr's Project SEARCH program which partners with the DHS Vocational Rehabilitation.
